| Description |
| Columbia Helicopters, Inc. in Aurora, Oregon, located 22 miles south of Portland is in search of a Helicopter Co-Pilot.
Responsibilities
Responsible for serving as second-in-command on Columbia Model 107-II or 234 helicopters (as appropriate) for logging, construction, fire-fighting and passenger operations. Performs appropriate duties as assigned by the PIC and operates the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with all appropriate FAR's and rotorcraft flight manuals.
Education/Experience
•High School Diploma or equivalent
•CH46 or CH47 experience
•Iraq/Afghanistan Theater, long-line, and 135 experience preferred
Requirements
•Self-starter
•Knowledge of principles and functions of aircraft systems
•US Commercial Pilot License or higher with Rotorcraft-Helicopter class rating.
•Second Class or higher FAA medical certification
•U.S. or equivalent passport
•Use of aeronautical charts and navigational aids
•Use of sound aeronautical decision making and judgment
•Communicate in a positive and constructive manner
•Work with maintenance personnel to maintain aircraft in an airworthy condition
•Minimum of 1500 helicopter flight hours, 1000 PIC hours
•Instrument rating and long line experience preferred
•Ability to travel and work away from home in remote places, and to work overseas
•Understand maneuvers, procedures, and emergency operations appropriate to the aircraft flown
•Comply with federal drug and alcohol policies
•Must be able to pass U.S. government background check, company drug and alcohol testing and have no disqualifying factors for foreign assignment.
