Description: Position Summary
Focal point for US army, EADS NA and HSI by being the main interface for all their needs with regards to the LUH logistic support. This includes managing customer’s activity for back orders, handling critical requirements with the purchasing/material planning, addressing credit and invoice problems with Finance, and overseeing forecasted requirements for spares/dynamics with Global Supply Chain and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul departments along with the LUH AEC customer support group. Design, monitor, and present on-going projects for the program to necessary program participants for update and review. In addition, it will include addressing issues with the online system. This function will also include building a close rapport with customers by establishing good communications to see how AE can better meet customer needs through process enhancements. The PLL will provide guidance and direction to AOG, Rotable Pool Service, Customer Service Representatives and Order Book representatives. Traveling as required. Assist Director of CLS in various aspects of program as required, including but not limited to various meetings and duties.
Duties: Primary Responsibilities
1. Act as focal point for the Customer and partner companies – Interfacing and Reporting
2. Monitor and sustainment of guaranteed minimum logistic performance (parts availability)
3. Crisis management before the customer escalates to higher management
4. Interact with both 3rd party and AEC technical personnel to develop a optimal strategic and financial plan to resolve customer issues in the most expedient and cost effective manner.
5. Communicate with the customer to build a solid rapport and ensure customer needs are being met
6. Manage all customer activity by providing reports as needed to management on back orders, critical issues, volume of orders, expected delivery dates, etc.
7. Oversee filtering and claim process for over & above services
8. Address customer issues with other internal departments as needed to ensure customer deadlines will be met. This includes MIS, Finance, MRO, GSC and any other area.
9. Provide support and direction to AOG, Rotable Pool Service, Customer Service Representative and Order Book Analysis personnel for their specific customers
10. Establish long term strategic planning for new additional customer support locations for inventory establishment.
11. Monitor both 3rd party and AEC inventory systems, warehousing and shipments for discrepancies in relation to customer fill rate and operational availability.

Qualifications: Education
Undergraduate degree required, education may be replaced with equivalent work experience (i.e. Computer Science, Business, Engineering etc.), formal training in Six Sigma with Green or Black Belt certification preferred.
Experience
Requires a minimum of five years experience in repairs, logistics, customer service or related fields within the helicopter/aviation industry. Basic knowledge of SAP in the SD and CS modules is preferred.
Essential Functions
Requires the ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form with internal and external customers, able to compose written documentation and to read and interpret various types of technical documentation, able to use computers and to utilize various types of hardware and applications. Able to work irregular workweek as the department requires. Must be able to travel domestic and international.
