Job Description
•The successful candidate will function as an Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) Quality Assurance author for the MH-60M Blackhawk Program. Experience may include mechanical, electrical, avionics and ordnance.
•Analyzes and evaluates engineering source data, vendor data, Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) data and customer data in order to design, organize, and develop technical data required to operate and maintain MH-60M.
•Analyzes and evaluates impact of engineering changes on technical data.
•The position requires the development and implementation of maintenance tasks, Fault Isolation Procedures (FIP’s) and Maintenance Operational Check (MOC’s).
•The position requires an extensive working knowledge of Blackhawk helicopter systems operation, customer's maintenance concepts, processes (e.g., supply, procurement), and support systems.
•It requires working knowledge of IETM and MIL-STD-40051.
•Experience with EAGLE software desired.
•Assists with quality reviews and validations, conducts in-process reviews, and supports verification.
•Must be a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to clearly communicate complex technical information to personnel while interfacing effectively with team partners, Customers and cross-functional disciplines.
•Requires knowledge of logistics support processes and requirements.
•Must be results oriented with excellent problem solving abilities, decision-making and organizational skills, as well as the capability to adapt to change and handle conflict situations calmly and dependably.
•This position requires strong organizational and communications skills (verbal and written).
•Strong administrative/PC skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks are a must.
•Candidate should have high priority on first time quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree and 10+ years related work experience or a Master's degree with 8+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Knowledge of fixed and rotary wing military aircraft systems and operation is desired.
•Must be able to work efficiently and effectively with Logistics/Technical Publications team on a daily basis with minimal supervision and possess strong communication skills.
•Candidate must have a current DoD clearance or the ability to get one (Secret).
Preferred Skills
•Experience using Microsoft Office products and IETM software tools (i.e., Arbortext Epic Editor (version 5.3), Raytheon EAGLE, IADS, or compatible SGML/XML applications).
•Expertise in understanding blueprints, engineering change documents, and Army aviation technical manuals
